After having been to sedona a few times, I knew this is a destination I’ll forever be coming back to. The red giants all around you, small town feel hospitality, world renowned hikes within minutes of you in every direction…. it’s an adventurer’s complete oasis to say the least.
This styled sedona elopement was designed and created to inspire my clients to dream. Whether you have a day after your wedding adventure session where you can hike one of the most popular views before the sun even rises, to then dance, play, and adventure the morning away with the most stunning bridals you could ever imagine… or you jeep with your family to a secluded location where you share your vows with your loved ones…. your heart’s dreams can be reality. Your options are truly limitless :’)
For this shoot I personally created and put together the floral design due to it being fall season and local florists being fully booked for this spontaneous styled elopement!π₯° (Incredible thank you to the local florist, Martha, owner and lead designer of Mountain High Flowers for supplying the stunning florals for me to put together the bouquet!)
The freaking dreamy, drool worthy wedding dress worn by model and adventurer, Christine with @hikersledge, was supplied by The Wild Collective Styled Shoot Dress Rentals. I love using The Wild Collective because she makes the rental process INCREDIBLY easy. ESPECIALLY the checkout process!
This hike was more like a rock climbing scramble to the top of the world renowned view, Cathedral Rock. We started our sunrise hike at 4:45am. We made it to the top of Cathedral Rock by 5:45 am. Thanks to my handy dandy pop up changing room (you can purchase yourself one here) Christine and Justin were able to hike up in cozy hiking attire, then change into their stunning elopement attire at the top! This pop up changing room also came in extremely handy because our elopement was cut a smidgen short due to rain. But the dress was completely fine as we were able to quickly change out of it before it started pouring! (usually my couple’s do opt to play in the rain and we get some magical rainy content, though due to it being a dress rental, keeping the dress preserved was a top priority)
Even though there was no sunrise, the views were still absolutely incredible as you can see from the portraits, the weather felt amazing, and Christine and Justin were two of the most fun, laid back, goofy couples ever to work with. We seriously had so much fun and I can’t wait for their true to them wedding day next yearπ₯Ίππ
