As a local Jackson Hole wedding photographer, a very favorite time of the year is when the Tetons are covered in a magical blanket of snow. Couples from all over the world take romantic getaways to ski with these iconic views. And what are romantic getaways in iconic views without a documentary couple’s photographer to capture your memories in a fun, romantic, and dreamy way?? :” )
Allie and Zach used their romantic winter Jackson Hole getaway to privately elope. (When I say Private, I mean just them and the courthouse!) Zach had been on tour for winter sport competitions and they new they knew once they arrived to Jackson Hole it would be the perfect location to have a newlywed session to be able to share their secret with the rest of the world.
Allie + Zach chose a 2 hours couple’s session. They chose to reserve Split Creek Ranch to ensure a private session with no worry of tourists interrupting their sweet newlywed portrait session. Allie knows she’ll wear a wedding dress one day, but she knew also knew that for these moments, it felt most like her and Zach to just be themselves, celebrating their devotion, frolicking through snow covered cottonwood forests and enjoying Grand Teton views. Allie’s hat is a custom Stetson hat, designed at one of my favorite shops off the Jackson Square, Kemo Sabe.
Enjoy some of their first moments together as a married couple.
Dreamy moments under the Tetons are special, and hard to come by. If you are planning your dream stay here in Jackson, be sure to inquire to have some of your moments documented the way they deserve, dreamy + iconic :” )
