We bundled up, hiked 3 miles with 1500 feet of elevation, to find the most spectacular sunset views for Hannah + Jason’s Teton Elopement shoot. Hannah + Jason traveled from Denver to have the most spectacular views in a less crowded range of the Rocky Mountains, settled in the Teton Mountain Range.
Hannah was FLAWLESS to say the least with this modern and dramatically magical wedding dress. It was definitely a priority of the bride’s to have this dress documented and give it the full moment it deserved 🥲. The whole evening was the perfect mountain weather. Partly cloudy leaving a beyond beautiful sunset, but not too cold where they felt they needed coats on the whole time!
Key thing for fall elopements in the mountains: wear skin colored cotton leggings! You can also have hand warmers stashed in your boots and along your leggings for the extra heat ; )
If you desire to elope in the Teton Range, it can be difficult due to permits needed inside the park. ALTHOUGH, I know many secret locations that I disclose to my couples that need no permit because the location is outside of the National Park, yet still has stunning views. These locations range from a backpacking adventure, to more simple day hikes.
